Think of me as your trusted numbers gal, with a fun, ask-me-anything personality. You don’t ever have to feel embarrassed if you’re stuck on accounting jargon or need to ask me a zillion questions. We all have our unique gifts, and geeking out on numbers and spreadsheets just happens to be mine!

The meaning behind Mareish.
I grew up riding horses and remember how people would call mares (female horses) “mare-ish” when they were acting up. There was an underlying, negative implication that the mares were being hormonal. It’s often this way in the corporate world, too. Women are deemed as “too sensitive” and aren’t taken as seriously as they should. Heaven forbid they show emotion in the workplace!
When I started my own business, I wanted to create a space where I could be 100% myself – in all of my sensitive and emotional glory! I wanted to reframe the term “mareish” into something that’s celebrated, not looked down upon. Accounting can be such a stuffy, boring, professional industry, and I believe in bringing back the human side to business. I also believe that you can be as successful as you desire, while being 100% true to yourself.
